Hi, I’m Kalyan Jyoti Borah, a frontend-focused software engineer from Assam, India, who cares deeply about building performant, secure, and user-respecting web products. I hold a BCA from Sibsagar Commerce College (CGPA 7.2) and have grown from building feature-driven apps into thinking in terms of systems, trade-offs, and long-term maintainability. My core strength lies in the modern frontend ecosystem — working extensively with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and state management patterns, while paying close attention to performance, accessibility, and developer experience. Over time, I’ve learned that shipping UI is easy — shipping reliable UI is not. On the backend, I’ve worked with Node.js, Go (Gin), Laravel, and NestJS, designing APIs, authentication services, and early-stage microservice architectures. I’ve spent significant time understanding auth flows, RBAC/ABAC, token strategies, data modeling, and service boundaries, especially while planning and building SaaS and platform-style products. I’ve explored projects ranging from real-time applications and dashboards to travel-tech and seller platforms, often starting small and intentionally focusing on MVPs, scalability paths, and cost-awareness rather than overengineering. I value clean code, strong typing, security by default, and thoughtful UX, and I’m continuously unlearning bad habits picked up from tutorials and replacing them with first-principle thinking. Still learning. Still building. More intentional than before.

Frontend Developer Intern, Nullclass (Nov 2022 - Dec 2022)
- Worked on a Stack Overflow clone, mastering React, Express.js, and MongoDB, while also mentoring fellow interns and refining my understanding of authentication, NoSQL optimization, and collaboration.
Full Stack Developer, A to Z Debug (Sept 2023 - Sept 2025)
- Developed pixel perfect frontend for a startup fund-raising company from Figma design to production using Next.js. Also integrated backend APIs to perform fund-raising,with cashfree payment gateway integration. (Dec 2023)
- Developed a web application and android application which allows users to generate captions using image for various platforms using React and React Native. (Jan 2024)
- Developed complete frontends for AI Chatbot products using React, TypeScript, Redux, RTK Query, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
